Our story...
FIT Strategy was born in Bologna (Italy) in 2019 from the commitment and experience of ENNE* and INEMA** to bridge a cultural, systemic and operational gap in the approach to data and information management.
Thank to the joint effort of its founder and staff, FIT Strategy is today:
- The first Italian company to be a member of the EDM Council**** and to be accredited to provide training (in Italian, Spanish and English) on the DCAM® (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) and CDMC® (Cloud Data Managment Capabilities) frameworks.
- Owner of the new Data Governance and Quality Improvement Toolkit ® standard.
- Sole provider of the unique Data Management Critical Friend Advisory Service Orange Line Direct Call ®.
* ENNE is a UK management consultancy firm with focus on project and programme management for various private, public and government, with flagship project including London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, London Underground Modernisation and Upgrade, UK House of Parliament Refurbishments and biggest PFI (Tideway) and PPP (Crossrail) initiatives in Europe.
** INEMA is an Italian consultancy firm founded in 1988, specialised in Operational Change Management and Innovation. The numerous projects carried out in over 30 years of activity span different sectors (from retail to fashion, from utility to industrial) with particular emphasis on improving business processes with a view to continuous research to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
**** The EDM Council provides a venue for data professionals to interact, communicate, and collaborate on the challenges and advances in data management as a critical organizational function. The Council provides research, education and exposure to how data, as an asset, is being curated today, and vision of how it must be managed in the future.

Today, FIT makes use of the contribution of international excellence and its Advisory Board counts on the support of:
Chris Bradley – Professor Emeritus in Data and Information Management, with over 40 years of industry experience and over 100 publications and lectures at conferences and seminars. One of the three global CDMP Fellow, he is responsible for planning, customizing and development of FIT Strategy Training contents.
Peter Aiken – is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, past President DAMA International, and Associate Director of the MIT International Society of Chief Data Officers. For more than 35 years, Peter has learned from working with hundreds of data management practices in 30 countries. Among his 10 books are the first on CDOs, the first describing the monetization data for profit/good, and the first on modern strategic data thinking. In 1999 he founded Data Blueprint, a consulting firm that has helped more than 150 organizations leverage data for profit, improvement, competitive advantage and operational efficiencies.
Steve Hoberman – has trained more than 10,000 people in data modeling since 1992. Steve is the author of nine books on data modeling, including the bestseller Data Modeling Made Simple and The Rosedata Stone. Steve is also the author of Blockchainopoly. He is the founder of the Design Challenges group, creator of the Data Modeling Institute’s Data Modeling Certification exam, Conference Chair of the Data Modeling Zone conferences, director of Technics Publications, lecturer at Columbia University.
Robert S. Seiner – is the President and Principal of KIK Consulting & Educational Services, a data and information management consultancy that he started in 2002, providing practical and cost-effective solutions in various Data Management disciplines. Seiner is a recognized industry thought-leader, has consulted with and educated many prominent organizations nationally and globally. His book “Non-Invasive Data Governance: The Path of Least Resistance and Greatest Success” was published in late 2014 and is the industry’s top-selling book on data governance.
Mark Evers – Chief Customer Officer of Transport for London and London Underground who daily serve more than 10 million customers in the United Kingdom and member of Transport for London Pension Fund Board. Mark he is responsible for planning, customizing and development of FIT Strategy Customer Care policies.
With a view to increasing satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders, FIT Strategy is committed to the continuous improvement of its processes and has defined its own internal quality management system.
Since November 2019, the internal quality management system of FIT Strategy has been certified according to the international standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 for the IAF 37 sector – Design and provision of training courses.

Since its beginning, FIT Strategy has been committed to supporting the growth of DAMA Italy, the Italian chapter, active since November 2018, of the International Data Management Association (DAMA-I), the main international non-profit organization for management professionals. some data.
In particular, FIT actively worked both by supporting and donating funds for the italian translation of the DMBoK©2 book.
